Following a lecture by author and Neutra scholar, Barbara Lamprecht, PhD., at the historic Neutra Office Building (1950), participants will tour the office apartments, Reunion House (1950), VDL Studio and Residences (1932; 1964), and other homes along Neutra Place.
The architect Charles Moore skillfully evoked, and helped create, the genius loci of Southern California in a range of notable projects designed largely over the decade he taught at UCLA: 1975 to 1985. This tour includes five of these projects, visiting three in some depth.
